Vic’s Elite Spatial Businesses Recognised With Industry Awards

Awards for spatial innovation, people and community, women in leadership, education development, spatial enablement, spatial export, and technical excellence were given to five businesses and seven individuals.

The Awards, run by the Spatial Industries Business Association (SIBA|GITA) and the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI), celebrate the achievements of top spatial information enterprises and individuals.

Innovators with services and products related to surveying, mapping, remote sensing, geographic software, GPS technology, and location intelligence are recognised as part of the Awards.

SIBA|GITA CEO Deanna Hutchinson said that the calibre of entries speaks volumes about the Victorian spatial industry.

“I am really impressed with the level of sophistication of the projects and technology developed by these businesses, and the dedication and drive of the industry’s best professionals.
